How to keep martial arts training at the highest level

How do you train at the highest level? Is this the question you asked yourself? I had the same problem; one of the things we found is that in order to train well, you as a Fighting Artist must be ready to make sacrifices. You also need to be willing to invest in tools that will allow you to train at the desired level. We have trained hundreds of Walking Artists, one common feature is that they all decide to invest for the first time as Walking Artists. The first thing they decide to invest is their time. Training at a high level lasts at least 10 hours a week. You as a Walking Artist must be ready to invest the time that would be needed for hard training.

You must be willing to train at weekends, you must be willing to train at night. You need to be willing to take the necessary time steps to implement a proper diet to properly drive the body so as to enable a strict training scheme. You need to spend some time preparing high protein and high carbohydrate meals in sufficient quantity to maintain enough calories to support your workout.

If it sounds hard, it should. As a Walking Artist we must be willing to follow a “difficult” route and truly accept the journey that you will travel during martial arts training. This is the part of the process that will take the most time. This journey will actually involve your life. Martial arts training becomes a part of your life. You do not become a Walking Artist, martial arts become you. It is a reward for the time spent, time spent in the gym, sparring, practicing forms.

Training at the highest level requires many things. As a dedicated Walking Artist, we must strive to overcome as many of these obstacles as possible. Martial arts imitate life in this respect. When you first started any Martial Arts training program, it seems like an impossible feat. Every pump feels like the last one, every crunch feels that you can’t go any further. It’s another pump, another session that will separate you from everyone. This is the point where everyone else ends up working, where you have the opportunity to improve. This is a point of no return!

To train at the level necessary to be the best Fighting Artist you can be, there is one more aspect of training that is extremely important. You need to spend some time understanding and taking into account the emotional and spiritual aspects of martial arts training. One of the most important parts of martial arts training is to understand the assumption that mind and soul are extremely strong than body. As a Walking Artist, once we understand this fact, we can “win” every battle.
